Idle hands do the devil's work...

...Just kidding.

But idle hands was the story of today. Work for me is increasingly boring as I find I am quickly exhausting all of things I thought appropriate to fill empty stretches of time when there is nothing for me to do. I have already read the magazines cover to cover about five issues back... and I have double checked all of the work I have done for little errors. Today they just printed out about twenty pages for me to look over for mistakes. That took me MAYBE two hours total... so I checked my e-mail rather obsessively hoping for an assignment from the ad department and conversing with Duncan who had the day off and also found he had little to do. Exploring the city alone is just not as much fun.

Duncan and I met up after work to go book hunting and grocery shopping. I found the book I was searching for, though Duncan is having a bit of trouble finding a book pertaining to youth ministry on the shelves. We are pretty sure he can order something along those lines though.

Highlights of my day include the young man next to me on the DART listening to Destiny's Child's "Independent Women" rather loudly on his iPod and Duncan dropping his garlic bread into his wine glass at dinner on accident. In his defense, he was NOT playing with his food or drunk.

Highlights of Duncan's day include a little boy on the bus talking to his mom about his friend saying, "If he misses me, then I misses him too," and Duncan found five cents.
